Project Delivered – RAW Civil Construction was engaged by Lendlease Building Contractors to construct the Hard and Soft Landscaping Package for DIT’s Glenunga International High School. 

Scope of works included earthworks and the construction of concrete and blockwork retaining walls, new stairs, disabled ramps, concrete and segmented block paver pavements and carpark, along with the supply and installation of new outdoor furniture and construction of feature planter boxes, including all soft landscaping. 

The project delivery challenges derived from working in and around other subcontractors constructing the building, while the school was still operational, and within a residential area restricting access to site. 

Despite these challenges RAW Civil Construction completed the project on 18th March 2022 with over 7,000 labour hours on-site. A fantastic result of 40% local indigenous employment was achieved, along with zero incidents and no first aid or lost time injuries. 

Yet another example of what can be achieved in collaboration with like-minded partners.
